While "heroic" is not generally a term that comes to mind with mattress and box spring purchases, it certainly was the case yesterday. My granddaughter was born 5 weeks prematurely, and was coming home THAT VERY DAY from the hospital with an exhausted set of new parents -- when we discovered an emergent mattress & box spring situation rendering them unusable. I needed to find something that was reasonably priced, but an excellent product -- that I could purchase and take home within a few short hours, by myself, with a U-Haul cargo van. Jared stepped up immediately, listened patiently and in earnest to the situation -- he was professional, courteous, affable and approachable, informative and honestly transparent -- working with an exhausted grandmother who'd been up all night and driving all over the place, trying to Make It Happen Cap'n in a very short timeline. Result? The perfect, high quality mattress & box spring at a reasonable price. But it doesn't end there...he assisted me with getting a very heavy product into the U-Haul, and then was kind enough to let me borrow a rolling cart to make it easier for me to wrestle the thing into the house and bedroom. I said I could leave an ID with him, so he'd feel confident that I'd return it as promised, but he said he trusted me. Without that cart, it would have been impossible to get that heavy mattress into the house. ...and that's is what good old-fashioned CUSTOMER SERVICE looks like. I did not encounter any measure of assistance anywhere else that day which can compare to Jared's kindness and sincere & sympathetic effort to make my day better.
