"Probably the best thrift store in Charlottesville. They are careful to select items in good condition and they support more than a few non profits. Volunteers are super nice and they keep the store clean and well organized. FYI there are two locations across the street from each other. Check them out frequently as they get donations all the time. Lots of treasures to be found"
"I have a "Love / Hate" relationship with TIN2 and TIN. I LOVE the fresh curated donated inventory, engaging volunteer staff and Lori the manager. I hate, well nothing except it used to be a secret spot to get great deals and it's become so popular you have to go every day, so do!"

"I used to enjoy shopping here because I could always find nicely curated, affordable goods. However, over the last few months, the prices on many of the large items have skyrocketed. I can actually find better bargains at some regular used goods retail outlets (like Circa). I understand that TIN benefits JABA and other area nonprofits, but that does not mean you should jack the price up on these DONATED items. Also, the tagging on things: "It's *this much* on eBay!" is unnecessary. If we want to see how much it is on eBay, we will look. And BTW, many of those prices are for the eBay list (asking) price--not what anything has actually sold for. To be fair, the TIN prices on clothing, linens, and many small items are typically very reasonable."
