"It's insane to me that I have to find an associate to unlock a case for a $3 paint pen, yet you leave people's paid purchases for pick-up in a self-service area that cashiers cannot see and are working on the honor system that people won't walk in and pick up purchases that aren't theirs. Literally the most ghetto Michael's I've ever had the displeasure of shopping in. Locking up items in the store isn't about theft, it's about demoralizing customers. If this store was that concerned about theft, they wouldn't leave your PURCHASED items in an unsupervised self-service area. It's okay for us to be stolen from, but not Michael's."

"This place is horrible. Got a notification my order was ready and it wasn’t. Couldn’t find any staff to help me. Finally found someone but they couldn’t help me. One cashier working with line all the way backed up to the back of the store. Then the woman who went to “look for it” started checking customers out!! Are you kidding me? Finally, for the icing on the cake, no one in the entire store could figure out how to give me a refund. Wish this place hadn’t put Ben Franklin out of business."

"Michael's is clean & well-lit, the store's space is smartly designed and it is intuitively well organized- which makes it easy to find what you are looking for, as well as come upon things that you suddenly realize that you could use... even if you didn't have them on your "grocery list." Most crafting items are not unreasonably priced, but let's be honest... at Michael's, we're value shopping for the least expensive things that we can get, so the quality of the items often matches the price tag. On the other hand, the frame shop isn't cheap, but their resulting work is always professionally done. In my experience, the staff is always helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Recommended."

"They ended up having most of what I was looking for and more in stock than what the app said. It was just a little confusing trying to find where some stuff was at first. The yarn is one section with another section having clearance stuff, which we didn't realize at first. Everyone was super pleasant and helpful though and in the end we left with more than what we needed."
