"This store price scalps unbelievable. Their prices are so high and every time you go in there there’s always either some idiot or one of the employees holding up the line. Half the time their equipment doesn’t work and I had one guy in there tell me a pack of smokes was 8 dollars when it was four dollars. Do not come into this store. It’s not just the one employee who tried to scam me it’s the owner of the place. He’s scalping people that already don’t have money. I’ve reported them to the bbb and the fair trade commission."
"My daughter purchased a blender, took it home and it didn't work, took her back 1hr later only to be told the store policy is a refund only if it's not opened. How would we know it doesn't work if we don't open it and plug it in? She said we can exchange it for the exact item. I asked where was the return policy posted the kept pointing and I didn't see it. I go the next day and it's posted on the window behind the carts in a corner...if you can read that you're amazing. Store manager Angela had to move things to get to it to show me. She stated that she was in the process of ordering new signs because there isn't a sign posted at the register nor near the electronic items. I don't shop at Family Dollar and I will be sure that no one else I know would either. Post the policy or inform the customer before purchasing anything electrical. All my daughter wanted to do was make a smoothie. I purchased 1 from Walmart. If it didn't work at least I know I can get a refund. Why would I want to get the same item that couldn't pulverize frozen fruit for a smoothie? Called Family Dollar Corporate office only to get an automated message about refunds and saying leave a message in an email. This is not how I do business."
