"This review is about two years overdue. For spring break of 2022, there was little snow in New England, so my son and I changed plans and headed south, hoping to catch some early spring fly fishing. We decided to use Mossy Creek Fly Fishing as our hub, after limited research about the area and about the shop. Their guides were all booked, but we were provided with all of the tools we needed for success. The staff at Mossy Creek helped us out a lot. We arrived with minimal planning, and stopped by the shop nearly every day of our trip, picking up flies and other necessities, collecting local knowledge, and reporting on our fishing experiences. They directed us to a diverse selection of small and medium sized streams, and a local spring creek. They were able to provide a pair of waders, out of a very large selection, that were impossible to find close to home. They were insightful enough to sneak a look at our truck before sending us out on a rugged, winter-damaged forest access road to fish our favorite spot of the trip. The shop staff even provided restaurant suggestions during our stay. Mossy Creek helped us salvage spring break. We will be happy to return to the area sometime and use them as a base for another trip."

"Great service! My online order came promptly and with a hand-written thank you note, and they packed my hat in a way that it wouldn't get crushed during delivery. Really hoping I can make my way to the store in person soon."

"The only bad thing that I can say about Mossy Creek Fly Fishing is that they don’t have a shop right across the street from my house. The shop has a great vibe, an outstanding array of gear and EVERYONE that I met there was cordial, professional and welcoming. I took their One Day - Fly Fishing Course and Andy and Wayne were my instructors. The course was very reasonably priced and Andy and Wayne were / are consummate professionals in every sense of the word. They really helped demystify the sport and made the course material digestible, interesting and fun. I can’t say enough great things about the shop and Andy and Wayne. Thanks guys."

"I normally don't do Google reviews, as a matter of fact this is the first time I have done this in 5 years. But I was so impressed with my experience today at Mossy Creek, I wanted to tell everyone. Adam did a phenomenal job today, he took his time to help me find a rod, reel and fly line combo that fit my budget and feels like a perfect fit to help me improve my casting as well as catch more fish. He is the definition of great customer servic, the world needs more people who care about their job like he does."

"Decent fly fishing store. I think it’s well rounded with a little bit of everything. Rod and reels, accessories, fly tying materials. They sell guide trips. The pre tied fly selection looked stocked. I bought some zirdle bugs. I also bought some foam for tying terrestrials. I thought they had a good selection of foam colors to choose from."
