"Visited 1/3/24 No issues to report. Clean and organized. This store is close to the massenutten resort. We were able to get in and out no long lines to check out. Everything we needed, they had stocked, which is a great thing. I'm not sure how far the next store was."

"Everyone was so friendly in Elkton. We were visiting from out of town. Got everything we needed for our weekend getaway cabin trip and was happy with checkout. We shop at Food Lion regularly so we nee where most things were located."

"As grocery stores go this one's better than most. Clean, organized, friendly staff, and typically they have everything I need in stock. I really enjoy being able to order what I need from the app and just picking up from the pickup zone. They do have self checkout and they also have a decent meat department and deli however they only carry items that most people desire. The downside is that they like a larger selection like most of the larger chains have when it comes to fresh cut produce, fresh seafood, and other deli items."

"This is a clean store and very well stocked. It is busy and supplies the Elkton area. This is set up for handicap parking and inside is accessible. Have all the new upgrades and check out went smooth even when it was very busy day. Recommend going here if in the area as prices wear comparable with big stores that require a long drive."

"Go here at least 3 times a week, most of the employees are wonderful and I have almost no complaints. However, I always do self checkout. There is a girl that works there watching the self checkout registers doing what I assume is theft prevention. Which I totally understand and doesn't matter a whole lot me I usually just go about my business and ring up my stuff, pay and leave. For some reason though every single time I'm in there and she is working she will literally come stand right behind me and watch over my shoulder the ENTIRE time. To the point she no longer even pays attention to anyone but me. First, second, even third time I paid mind to her. My mom needed a couple things from food lion so I drove her over. Once again, same thing. When we got in the car my mom pointed out how it was a little odd how 3/4 self checkout registers were being used but she came right over to us, acted like we were only ones in the store and watched my every move. Now, it isn't a huge deal because I don't steal, I have never been in trouble once in my entire life. Not even a ticket. If this was something she did to everyone, periodically checked on everyone using the self checkout, or just didn't come and watch only me the entire time I wouldn't even be leaving this post as I hardly if ever leave reviews. If I was the only one using self check out or had stolen before, I'd feel it's more understandable. I just can't justify or find a reason why she feels it necessary to do this every time I'm in there. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe I shouldn't care but I can't help but feel more and more irritated every time she does it. I just dont understand why she does this. Every, single, time...."
