"Very clean and open atmosphere. The seating was nice and private while remaining open and bright. The servers were very friendly and welcoming. They were attentive to our every need. The food was phenomenal! The portions were great and the flavor well balanced. Must try item is the tempura cheese cake. So good, crunchy and warm!"

"My new go to spot for Sushi anywhere in Hampton Roads! This spot has great authentic Thai food and some of the freshest sushi you can get around here. Fridays and Saturdays can get packed so there may be a wait if you're doing to go, but it's worth it"

"Tonight was my first time trying Thai Tara, so I ordered a couple of things to try. I ordered the Bang Bang Chicken, Pad See-Ew Combination, and California Roll. One of my meals came with jasmine rice. For all 3 things, plus a 15% tip came out to 52.44. To start, my rice had hair in it (pictured). The Pad See-Ew was not great at all. The meat had a weird taste to it, it was mushy, and honestly it was not easy on the eyes. I could’ve made something more presentable at home. The Bang Bang Chicken had decent flavor but was very soggy. And at last, the California Roll was the best thing I got, BUT I specifically asked for no Masago and as you can see in the picture, it was still put on. This was the first and unfortunately the last time I will be eating here. Such a disappointment because the Grove area of Williamsburg doesn’t have many restaurants and I was looking forward to having a different option."

"The service was top-notch, and their sushi was unexpectedly amazing! From Norfolk to Richmond, this place is one of the BEST! And the Thai food—OMG—especially the softshell crab garlic pepper dish, so good! Trust me, their cocktails seal the deal! "Popped in here after getting rained out at BGW-HOS as it’s basically right down the street. Very pleasant surprise. Great combination of sushi-Japanese-and Thai. Wonderful variety on the menu. Service was friendly and attentive (Thx Skex, Paul & Natty!), sushi on point and fresh, well presented and good selection. I need to come back when the Uni is back in stock! Kanpai!"
