"To start I DO NOT do reviews but I had to when it comes to Fresh Wok. When I walked in to Fresh Wok I was very pleased with the atmosphere. The staff was very helpful; for this was my first time placing an order here. If you were to just be riding by you'd think they don't get guest; that's definitely not the case here. I'm very picky when it comes to international dining and have been trying to find a convenient place to order an international mix of cuisines. The rice was the perfect consistency, the rolls were fresh and very tasty. The gravy for the Egg Foo Young was a nice brown and the thickness and flavor were on point. Lastly I do not want to leave out the Tai Tea, OMG, I was ready to go back in an order another one. Fresh Wok will definitely get my business. They don't make you tip but for the quality it's worth one for the service you get."

"Short review: Best asian food Ive ever had, best value for asian food I've ever had. And Ive had a LOT of different asian food. I had sesame chicken, fried rice, and shrimp tempura sushi rolls. If you like those three things, absolutely go here, and if you like other things, its safe to say theyre probably also amazing. This is by far the best deal you will get for asian food. The sesame chicken was not only the best tasting, and feeling chicken Ive ever had, but it also was a huge portion for what it cost. The sushi was also very good, the shrimp was crunchy, and the rice and seaweed wrap werent stale, which is something that happens a lot with lower quality sushi. I got to see the california roll too, which is a very basic sushi, but it still looked really high quality. The miso soup was not the bare minimum like most places, it had green onions, seaweed, and tofu. The fried rice was hands down the best fried rice I have ever had. And I know I said that about the other items, but this fried rice is the easiest to sell. It was another massive portion, and it had plenty of eggs, shrimp, chicken, and pork in it. A lot of places dont put much of the extra stuff in their rice, but this place doesn't disappoint. The wait time for the soupwas about 5 minutes, and the wait for the rest of the good was only 10 to 15. However we were eating at a time when noone else was there, so it probably is longer if you go at a more crowded time. They didn't have any music playing, which I liked because I could speak at a normal level, and the eating area and bathroom were very clean. Great place to go with family or friends since the serving are enough for two or three. If you like asian food a lot, I can highly recommend it. If your on the fence, this is a good place to go to try things."

"Food around the Sandston area always seems so hit or miss, we were worried to try this place out having had bad experiences at other Chinese restaurants in the area. But this is hands down some of the best Asian takeout I've had in years, I was shocked in the best way. I am excited to work my way through the menu and try some vastly different dishes and see how this place holds up. The staff I interacted with at the counter was welcoming and friendly, the interior was clean and very well kept up and the food was piping hot (and obviously delicious). Definitely a wonderful find, if you want Asian take out, give this place a shot. As more menu options are tested, review may update. **Update** Holy cow, this place has become hands down my favorite Asian take out. The mushroom beef is phenomenal, the chicken and broccoli is best I've had, the egg rolls are delicious, hot and sour soup was perfect, and I am most surprised my the drunken noodles, flavorful and delicious, hits the right marks, I would not have expected everything to be good and taste on par with the best Chinese and Thai places I've been to. Next to try is the sushi! Forgive the photos, got too into shoveling it in my mouth before I thought to snap pics. Seriously give this place a shot, in all likelihood, you'll be in love. 10/10 will recommend."

"Though the food was flavorful, I was extremely disappointed in the proportion of onions to meat. The entire container was chock full of onions. I had to dig around to find the few pieces of beef within the meal. If I wanted onions and rice I would have simply ordered that. The picture posted is BEFORE I ate any of it. Please do better!"

"Good food, lunch menu was inexpensive and portion was good. I am giving a three stars because the restaurant charged me $3.53 (3.75%) for paying with credit card. As a business, credit card merchant feed should be part of the operating expenses. It shouldn’t be paid by the customers. Having a sign on the back of the monitor does not make it alright. If you are paying at the table or stand in front of the counter, you will never see the sign. We will not be coming back no matter how good the food is."
