"Absolutely loved this place. As a new resident of Ashland and a lover of Peruvian food, it was a match made in heaven. Got the half chicken dark, and the seafood chowder. This stuff should be illegal! Chicken is literally falling off the bone. And the soup was Absolutely fantastic! The only tiny complaint is the shrimp in the soup still has the tails on. But I managed to eat it anyway. The place smells amazing right when you enter. They even have an app to order ahead for to go. And you can earn points. Will definitely be going back many many times."

"Most Peruvian chicken restaurants are pretty decent, and the chicken has good flavor. I was unpleasantly surprised how bland the chicken was here (which was all I ordered). There was absolutely no seasoning on this bird, and I had to season it myself to make it palatable. It's a shame given the good reviews. I'm not gonna give them a second chance."

"UPDATE 10/13/23: Unfortunately, I'm having to revise my rating due to a recent bad experience. I ordered a fish bowl as I have many times before. Partially into eating, I realized that the center of the fish was raw. Of course this killed my appetite and I was definitely worried about foodborne illness at the time. I emailed Fire & Chicken about this experience right after it happened, 11 days ago, and never heard back. It is disappointing there was no communication or attempt to resolve the issue (even just a refund for the fish bowl would have been nice). As my previous review below mentions, I was a frequent customer and obviously usually loved their food! After their lack of response, I don't think I'll be back. ---------------- Previous review: So delicious and great portion sizes! I've had the chicken rice bowls a few times now and definitely will try out some other menu items in the future. Prompt and friendly service, too. Highly recommend this local business."

"Stopped by 5/27/23 around 5:30pm for an early dinner. Not many people there but they sure got busy before we left. I ordered the mixed kabobs with fried rice and my friend ordered Chaufa Mariscos. Both were generous servings and very tasty. Before leaving, we got freshly made alfajor to go and enjoyed it today. This was my first taste of Peruvian food but I will be back."
