"So we moved to Virginia...we loved our Golden Corral in Easley (SC). But often when you tell someone you went to one... you'd have to add "but THIS one is a good one!" Alas...the new one in Glen Allen (VA)...is one of the many that are just OK. So service... not good at all. I usually tip well...not this time. The food was just OK. In Easley I'd get their fried chicken breast...massive, tender and juicy with excellent crust. Here? Backs only! Crust wasn't as crispy but still good. A good bit of the food selections looked dried out even though it was just after 1 PM. And not cheap --- even using a Senior discount. We will not be returning."
"Our family went here for New Years Hangout. Our waiter was really good. We tipped them well . All the food was good. We just didn't pick the right day to get a good baby back rib or steak output. But the atmosphere was really nice and we really enjoyed ourselves. Would definitely recommend especially since this particular location is only one of two in the whole Richmond /Henrico County/ Midlothian area"
"We went on a weekday for lunch buffet.. It costed around $32 for two people with 2 diet sodas.. Food was pretty decent and lots of options to choose from.. May not be for vegan and vegetarian people though.. There was ample seating and everything was accessible.. Will go again.."
"I started coming to this location when they first moved here. Always enjoyed a good family meal growing up. To us, it was peak going out. When I moved up north 6 years ago, I have been always craving GC. Work brought me back and the memories of family came rushing back. Ate the meatloaf my dad always craved. The salad bar my mom always commented on how fresh it was, and of course the fried chicken I ate too much of. I still ate too much today, which at my age, is probably not a good thing. But the overall experience was great. It was clean, super friendly staff. Food was good. I didn't see stuff just sitting out. Always getting replenished. I've eaten at top notch restaurants and no, of course you can't compare the quality. But for a buffet, $15, it was 5/5"
