"Me and the wife stopped here while stopping at Aloft hotel. We had the fried pickles, shepherds pie, and calamari. The fried pickles were like fry size with pickles in them. Not the full spear. Good flavor and the sauce went well with them. Shepherds pie was amazing and the wife like the calamari and that it was fresh not frozen. We sat at the bar and the bartender was fantastic."

"This is one of Richmond best restaurants and pubs. The decor and relaxing vide of this restaurant makes it truly unique. Couches to relax by the fireplace and plenty of outdoor seating. And the food is some of the best. From true British fish and chips to the best Sheppard pie. And they have their unique Martini's on Friday for $5"

"I went to Park Lane Tavern for dinner with my family for the first time last night and my dinner was terrible. I ordered a burger with bacon and cheese and it came to me without bacon or cheese. When the server brought it back to the table for the second time it had cheese, bacon bits instead of bacon strips, and was now burnt and tasted bitter. After that I decided to go with the fish and chips, which was better than the burger. By the time I got my fish and chips the rest of my family had finished eating so I got my meal to go. Not once did the manager come out and address the issue with my meal, or offer any potential compensation. The only thing good about my experience was the server. Shanta was pleasant, attentive, and tried her best to be accommodating. Her effort far surpassed that of the manager in resolving the issue. She was excellent."

"I strongly recommend this tavern. This was my husband and I fourth time at Park Lane. Each time, we try something different from the menu. There are so many entrees and beverages to choose from. The Bacon Stuffed Gouda Burger was incredible. The burger was cooked to perfection and topped with very delicious fixings such as the thick sliced bacon and onion straws. My husband enjoyed his schnitzel. The portions were huge. We couldn't eat everything there. Good thing we asked for a doggie bag so we could have room for dessert. I am definitely coming back again for the bread pudding. They are not shy with their portions. When every other restaurant in town is lowering the quality of their products, Park Lane is leading the pack and shouting quality matters. The quality of the food, service, and the atmosphere have my vote. They also have a great brew selection. If you aren't into beer, you have to try their Manhattan or Smoked Old Fashioned with your favorite bourbon."

"My wife and I visited this place for the first time today and it was very very good. We got there at 11 a.m. before it got busy in the service was exceptional. I ordered the Beef Wellington and she ordered the London Broil. I also had an Irish coffee that was a good. The appetizer we had the goat cheese dip with the vegetables. The food was exceptionally good. I would recommend this establishment to anyone and we plan on returning very soon. What a good experience."
