"Love the place, very cute stuff and some of the staff seem very willing to assist. But I got the vibe that they thought I was stealing or something. I asked to use the fitting room and though I only had two pairs of jeans the lady told me I was only allowed to bring in three things, no biggie but when I came out she was right there asking how they fit and offered to take the unwanted pair back for me, again no biggie but I told her I was going back to look at the other pairs anyways. When I got to the register I was trying to ask about the teletie headbands and the staff seemed much cooler towards me. I felt awkward like when you keep talking and someone just doesn't respond and you just feel like you're bothering them. Anyways I checked out my items and then the lady asked me to leave my basket in front of the register, saying that there would be "no need to take it back to the door" I would be walking towards anyways... All of these things separately seem like courtesy but all together and with their delivery just made me uncomfortable. Having worked in retail, they just seemed to me to be poorly concealed loss prevention methods. I made sure to shake out my jacket that I had in the basket before leaving... I liked the friendliness of the staff on my first visit, the lady seemed super nice but I really don't like feeling like a thief when I'm somewhere to spend money."

"Sweet Southern Charm is one of my favorite places to shop in the RVA area! They have beautiful women's clothing options as well as gorgeous accessories. In addition, they offer so many great gift selections. Whenever I have an occasion to celebrate someone, my first thought is to go to Sweet Southern Charm and find that special something! I used to live in Colonial Heights and moved to Midlothian 2+ years ago. I make special trips to CH just to shop there. In fact, I had an emergency surgery for a ruptured appendix back on October 26. Well, I had my sister-in-law drive me down 2 days later to shop their Christmas opening showcase! Hahaha! And I walked out with 3 beautiful Christmas tops!! It was worth the pain!"

"Sweet Southern Charm is such a wonderful place to shop! They have soooo many cute clothes and fun accessories! Robyn and the girls are ALWAYS so friendly and helpful! I drive over an hour to shop there and when I can't get there and see something super cute, I order online and have it shipped. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE shopping here!! THE BEST AROUND HANDS DOWN!!!"

"This is the most darling shop with the sweetest employees. I experienced a hostile customer and the owner was as sweet as she could be to try and accommodate.
