"Currently, as of 1/22/24, lobby & coffee bar are closed. Store being remodeled only open for drive thru. Of the 3 McDonald’s restaurants in Abingdon, VA, this is the most consistent with food presentation, appropriate food & beverage temperatures but above all, cleanliness."
"Stopped here on Friday 1/12 is was possibly the worst food I've had from any McDonald's. Order was wrong and the food tasted as if it had been fixed for days. Even the apple pies were so dried out the filling was like molasses."
"I waited in line when there were no cars at all there for 30 minutes till I got out of my car (because my boyfriend didn't want to be mean) went to the window and told them I wanted my money back while there were 4 ladies just standing. It took them a minute or 2 to even come to the window while they all 4 stared at me until one finally came to the window. Keep in mind it was like 35° outside! Never will eat there again. At least late in the evening!!"
"Used the self check out, got my table number, but no receipt. During the order processed, I checked dine in. I waited my table with my table number 10+ mins, while other patrons came and went. When I went up to check on my order, there was a bag with my table number on it, and I had no idea it was sitting there. Had to ask for a cup to get my drink when I paid extra for tea/lemonade mix. Got to my table, and needless to say, my food was cold. Prices continue to rise while service continues to decline. Oh yes, best of all, I think there were some DM's there. Look to be some prominent men in suits "helping" the workers. I can't recommend this location at this time."
"Not a perfect score, however compared to all other fast-food restaurants that I have been to in quite some time, this is the cleanest and most welcoming one. The bathrooms were clean, my table was wiped off, the floors were clean, the condiment and drink area was very respectable, the french fries were wonderfully freshly cooked, my food was made neatly and in the correct proportion and my food came within the time expected of McDonald's. The managers here should be damn proud of themselves!!"
