"I’m in town just for a couple days but saw this store driving by . I love Plato’s Closet so I decided to drop by. I’ve always admiring how they live up to the ‘gently used’ slogan but I have to say the shoes here were pretty worn and not that clean. Not to mention, about 80% of the shoes I picked up were advertised as the wrong size. I always try on every shoe but I know some people don’t and will just go off the size that Plato’s closet prints on the shoe without looking at the size on the actual shoe. But I picked up SO MANY pairs of shoes that were completely the wrong size. This is really unfair considering that shoes are usually final sale and I’m sure people are going to realize the shoes are the wrong size once they get home and can’t return them."
"This is easily the best Plato’s I’ve ever been to. The staff and owners here are all stellar. I travel 2.5 hours to buy & sell from this establishment. I just moved to Charlottesville where the Plato’s Closet owner, staff, and selection are terrible & it simply makes me miss this amazing Plato’s experience. Great business, great people, great finds!"
"out dated, low quality, and too much stuff. they need to go through their inventory and get rid of all out dated UGLY clothes. tried to take my relevant clothes and they would not take any of them, because of all the ugly clothes they have. please go through your entire store and donate to goodwill, so you can get new RELEVANT clothes. should NOT be seeing the same clothes from 2 yrs ago!"
