Applebee's Grill + Bar

"Yesterday, around 1:00pm my coworkers and I had lunch at this location. The server we had was nice, but she was waiting on a lot people so she couldn’t do much. We never received a refill. At the end we were asked if we wanted to go drinks. That was nice, but we needed the refills while eating. A lady with brown hair that seemed to be the manager didn’t want to take any tables, leaving this all on the one server. I would see the manager bring stuff out to tables throughout my visit. She didn’t seem friendly. It seemed as if she was having a bad day. We all have bad days, but as a manager you can’t let your bad days show. We know for a fact she didn’t want to take any tables from hearing what was said. She had a few people at the bar that she waited on. They didn’t seem to receive much service neither. If she’s the manager, I would suggest retraining or maybe a demotion. We all left a good tip for the waitress, because can we really blame it all on her, no she’s one person she can only do so much. You have cameras. I would probably review the entire day yesterday. The food was okay. I wouldn’t say the food being underwhelming is the cooks fault either. Who knows what stress the one individual is bringing on the entire establishment."

"We were so thankful Applebee's was open on Christmas Day. We drove 4 hours to meet our son and were unsure where we could eat. Our server was so sweet and made our day better. I'm sorry I don't remember her name. The 6 people in our party thoroughly enjoyed the meal, service and being able to be together for a few hours on Christmas Day."

"Went to Applebee's and waited on by Autumn today. Tried to change my order and never could find the waitress, Autumn. Finally, a server named Ben helped me. Ben advised my waitress was named Autumn and she DID NOT have a name tag on. Autumn came to the table, I advised, I wanted to change my order and she said, your order has already been placed. Autumn also stated, I have been walking around here to which I replied, I did not see this and she rolled her eyes. I felt like, I was called a liar. However, order did get changed after i asked if Manager was available. Anyway, I did leave a small tip which I really shouldn't have left one. I would never order at Applebee's again for dine in if I see Autumn as my waitress. Autumn even didnt even give me all my change and was a quarter short. I received my quarter after I asked for my receipt. A shout out again to Ben and what a professional you are! Response from owner Copy in web browser and more information. "Food never arrived for two members of our party, and they had to pay anyway. Server and manager said there was "no proof" the meals weren't delivered, so we were SOL. The best they could do was offer a useless gift certificate, which expired last year, and was valid at that location only. We even had to negotiate that the gift certificate fairly reflect the price paid for the food we never received. Completely careless management. Huge disappointment."

"My scathing review of Applebee’s…. It’s 1025pm. I’m outside your establishment, trying to get in. The door is locked, the chairs are all up and there are 3 people at the bar. Your posted hours are until 11pm. Why are you closed? Was it slow tonight?… If you were a “mom and pop” place, I’d forgive you. However you’re a chain and you’re even in Alaska, where I’m from… I don’t forgive you, because you don’t have a modicum of… order?…. No, it’s consistency. I’m here from Alaska, working the fires in the state right now. I’m not free until later in the evening and I just wanted to grab a drink ( not dinner- I had my brown bag lunch already ) before heading back across the street to the hotel for the night. I checked online; Ruby Tuesday closes at 10. You were open ‘til 11. Perfect! It was 945 at the time…. That being said, thank you in advance for being open on Thanksgiving Day, when probably everyone else is closed; I was surprised at that! However, you did let me down tonight Applebee’s"
