Gina's Trattoria

"Gina's is a decent Italian restaurant in a shopping mall. There's easy parking and lots of seating. Atmosphere is well-lit and relatively sparse -- no tablecloths and candle-lit romance here. On my one visit we dined in and enjoyed fast table service, They also do a lot of takeout. My chopped steak on spaghetti was good, and I had plenty left over for breakfast. My son had pesto spaghetti which I think he found a little too basic, but there was certainly plenty of it. He could have added a protein. In summary: Good comfort food, reasonably priced, with good service. It's not "fine dining" but I would certainly go back"

"Loved it. Stopped in here last night after driving around a bit (Lexington is busy this time of year) and got some good food. The waitresses were awesome, the blonde one (didn't catch her name) was an absolute sweetheart to our kids, too. The food? The food was fabulous. Got a Big Nick's to share with my family's entrees and it was great. Never had anything like it. Wife got Drunken Chicken Parm and she loved it. My kids shared some Shrimp Alfredo, most of that disappeared. We WILL be stopping here again when we come back to Lexington. You should too."

"We ordered take out from Gina's, order was ready in 15-20 mins. Restaurant was very clean and we were greeted right away by very friendly staff. We ordered a 16" onion and pepperoni pizza, a regular calzone, and a slice of limoncello cake. Everything was excellent!!! My husband said it was the best pizza he has had in a long time. Sauce was delicious, crust perfect! The calzone was everything a calzone should be! Dough was tender, filling was plenty and cheesy, and the ham delicious. The cake was a wonderful treat to share. I don't think you could go wrong with any of the delicious selections. Next time we are in the area I think we will dine-in, will definitely eat here again!"

"Clean and plenty of seating. Staff is very attentive, all the way staff checks on you throughout your stay. The owner even checks on their customers no matter how busy they are. Besides Great Service and Good food Gina's does fund raiser for area families that are in need of assistance. Yesterday 5/6/2023 she had a Classic Car Cruise In (3rd Annual event) and door prices, raffles, 50/50 drawings, music. We highly recommend eating here, and if you hit that right time you'll enjoy a few HOTRODS"

"Excellent dining choice in Lexington. I took my family here just the other day for a lunch and things have changes since my last visit probably 4+ months ago. They have expanded their seating area into the adjacent space and it has made a huge difference. Much better spacing between tables and the area is well lit and nicely done. I don't recall the menu last time but it seems like there are more choices. Even if its not new, there are a lot of choices at Gina's. We had mozzarella sticks for an appetizer, which were very good and had a great crunch. For mains we had an Angelina sub, Steak & Cheese Special sub, Garlic Parmesan Boneless Wings, and a Fish & Chips from the daily specials list. Every item was prepared well and tasted great. It was a tough decision on what to get since there was so many options. We'll definitely be back as there are many menu items I was considering. Overall, this is a great option for dining out in Lexington for good food at a very reasonable cost."
