"I had the Crispy lickin chicken mac bowl Classic mac topped with crispy fried chicken chunks, Fresh pico de gallo,fritos. There salads are awesome . Sweet tea and unsweet by the gallon available too. Coworker had a Brisket sandwich that he said it was delicious. Can't go wrong with Shawn's BBQ ."
"This place is just under an hour away from us but we make the trek for their amazing BBQ. My kids love the macaroni bowls and I usually get the pick two with brisket and ribs. It's so much better than anything local. I can taste when liquid smoke is used and this place does not use it, local shops do. The brisket is tender and flavorful, the rib meat practically falls of the bone. I love the mac n cheese and coleslaw sides. There's something about that coleslaw that's different and it's delicious. I've also tried their potato salad which wasn't my cup of tea, and the baked beans have a good amount of BBQ sauce which was just a bit much for me. But that corn bread!!! Get some. It's moist and rich and worth it. The staff are awesome and I got to meet the owner on one of my visits. There's a red headed guy that works there and he's awesome. He'll offer up suggestions and help you order. Two thumbs up for this place from our family!"
"Shawn’s Smokehouse is amazing. I have yet to have a single thing from the menu that isn’t beyond outstanding. Today I tried the wings with their dry run and the Smokehouse salad with brisket. Cannot say enough how good their food is!! Paired with a Beer Hound Tucker and it is the perfect dinner."
"I love me some Shawn's. My favorite meats on the menu are the burnt ends, and all their smoked pulled meats. I have to say that I think you are all missing the best coleslaw in the universe! Look the pulled chicken is great, but it's just perfectly smoked chicken UNTIL you add Shawn's magic coleslaw. I swear I tasted angel wings and fairy dust (may have been coconut). I will see you all again as soon as I make it back out there."
"The service was great — the staff here went above and beyond and were incredibly welcoming. They were a young crew, but they were very professional, so kudos to them. The brisket was really good! The mac and cheese was a bit disappointing, it tasted like Velveeta mac and cheese if that’s your preference."
