"Bought my daughter a pair of the white high top converse for school this year and not even a month after having them the right shoe I'm guessing molded? As you can see in the photos the left shoe is still in the same shape from when we purchased them but the left has this awful brown stuff spreading around the entire shoe I have never seen something like this and this is like the 7th or 8th pair of shoes I've purchased from journeys and we've never experienced this before so of course I'm upset I call the store and explain what's going on and the girl on the phone tells me to bring them in. I bring them in just for the guy to tell me that a manager has to be present I get that BUT that should have been told to me on the phone considering we live a good half an hour-45 min out of the way from the store. I am hoping that they make this right by exchanging them due to the fact these shoes weren't wore enough times for something like this to be going on nor have they been submerged in water or kept in a dark place for them to be doing this and only on one shoe?? I am a loyal journeys customer but if the problem isn't resolved I can't say I would continue to be after spending that much for this to happen so soon after the purchase."

"The salesperson who helped me today should get a fat raise. Fuschia sneakers, green streak in hair, badges on lanyard she made the buying experience enjoyable and it should be. For sure I would not have a made a purchase without her influence: knowledgeable, attempted to sell me more stuff which means I’ll likely purchase there again and I’m happy with my purchase."
"Went in store for school shoes for both children. I knew in advance which shoes my daughter intended to get so picked those quickly. For my smaller son, not as easy and had a hard time fitting him with a shoe. While struggling to find an appropriate shoe for my son, Sales staff kept pushing socks and sprays for maintaining shoe color to the point that it was obnoxious. When shopping with smaller children, chill out with the hard sales techniques. I ended up saying no to socks and sprays more than once and ended up going to another store for shoes for him merely to get away from the pushy sales."
