"It's a new McDonald's meaning completely refurbished as they have torn down and rebuilt the Thruway stop it is located at. It was fine typical although I do miss actually talking to a person I'm not sure how I feel about ordering my food at the kiosk I'm sure if I was in need of assistance I could have gotten it but it's good to order from a human. I realize that may make me old-fashioned but my kid who's less than 30 also seemed to miss the human presence when ordering. No there's a question here about atmosphere so I'm going to say having nothing to do with McDonald's but about building design there are a number of tables right below air ducts where your napkins and stuff just go flying right off the table. This is not a McDonald's problem it is a Thruway rest stop design issue."
"I would to thank the entire night staff at the Old Valley Pike McDonalds. Chase & Hassan noticed our family were waiting to be picked up from Geico after and accident on RTE. 81.They gave us water and checked on us periodically to ensure we ok. While waiting I was impressed by how friendly, and courteous they were to all the guest. The lobby area was clean, fully stocked and sanitized.Great Job guys we appreciate you for everything!"
