"I have been with Dr. Ravital for over 3 years, seeing him every week and occasionally every other week. My conditions are complex and severe, needing extra care and compassion. This is exactly what he delivers. He has gotten to the root of my issues and is always willing to help, no matter what time of day. I have been in the hospital numerous times and Dr. Ravital has always been in contact with my family, checking in if he has not heard an update. I am very pleased with his services. He, indeed, pushes me to be my best self, and that is in his job description as a doctor. He goes above and beyond to suggest new tactics and problem solving skills to help with my depression and anxiety. I don't think that anyone would continue seeing a health practioner for over 3 years if they did not see any promise, feel any trust or hope to get better. With the help of Dr. Ravital, I am certain that I will feel better and get back to myself with time and patience. I highly disagree with the previous review about the DBT program. The sessions are charged whether you can or cannot attend. This is due to holding your spot in the DBT program, since there may be others that are patiently waiting a place to attend the program. It is a highly specialized form of therapy that is offered in the Philadelphia area. There are not many other programs close by. His lessons and ways of teaching DBT help those who have already been through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and who might need that extra push to learn how to breathe and get through life. I do think the program is fair and honest. I hope that if you are reading this review you will trust me that he is a good doctor and a good man."

"Had to wait 2 months before seeing Ameet. Like the reviewer below, I do agree Ameet is very big into fitness and living a healthy lifestyle and sometimes can ignore concerns you may have. If you don't live a healthy lifestyle by eating right and exercising daily, then be prepared to start, as Ameet believes exercise and eating healthy are even more important than taking psychiatric medicine. I believe otherwise since I can't even get out of bed without my medicine. We argued a lot over this topic. Because of this and other concerns over scheduling and pricing, I chose another therapist in the practice that I think is a lot better and actually listens to my concerns. Also, I do believe Ameet is the expensive in the DBT phila center so choose wisely. Also the group sessions are charged even if you cannot attend the group during a given week. I do agree, kind of unfair since it's a year long group."
