Up a Creek Tavern

"I have been frequenting Up A Creek for many years and have always enjoyed the food., inviting staff and atmosphere. Not anymore. The past couple times I have been there the food and service has not been as good. Tonight, it was all bad. Food was horrible. Ribs were tough and dry. Had to flag down the bartender to send them back. Came out tough and dry AGAIN. When I initially ordered, I asked for no sides with my half slab of ribs, but ranch chips. She said that was fine. I asked if I could get the chips first to munch on. She said yes. I was charged for the dinner plus an appetizer. I brought it to her attention when she brought the bill. I ate 1/4 of the chips and virtually none of the ribs. She did not offer any discounts nor did she alert a manager. POOR SERVICE, POOR FOOD. The place has gone completely downhill..."

"We have been here several times, and I think the food has gone downhill since the new owner took over. Austin was our server and he is outstanding and very attentive. There was a band here Random Strangers and they were very good. We have seen several bands here, and all have been good. My only complaint is lack of a dance floor when the bands are inside. One of your employees came over and moved tables to make a dance floor, which was great. Shortly after that, another employee came and put the tables back where they were to accommodate the dj to set up. Therefore, the dance floor was very small and not too many could get up and dance. When people come to see a band, they are there to have a good time and dance. I have seen several times when the tables have been removed so people can dance. I'm sure when the dj started, they moved the tables for dancing, but I'm not sure as we left after the band was over. I feel there needs to be some reorganization of tables to accommodate a dance space when ypu have live bands."

"Neat place with good menu and food. They have a good draft Beer selection, and the atmosphere is cool. The patio is spacious and butts up to a nice woods... an owl was calling while I was checking it out. Recommended!"

"Came here on a Friday evening with a few friends and really enjoyed the time. Sat in the outdoor section and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Our server was very attentive and always kept our drinks topped off. I really enjoyed the fries which were cooked very well and salted a good amount. I had wings and split my sauces up with Parmesan garlic and Louisiana garlic with both being delightful. The draft choices for beer were plentiful and the blue moon was a good pick. Highly recommend coming here and will be back in the future"
