"My 19 and 22 year old sons love this store for their clothing because they can get top name brands for a fraction of the cost of new clothing. They always have a wide variety to select from. We've been going there for years."

"If I could give negative a billion stars I would. Take high quality authentic items. They offer you 12.00? I realize that you don't get what you paid due to depreciation in value but if the value in depreciation is 2 weeks old, for an 500.00 item, can't you at least offer 150? Like I know times are tough, that's why folk like me sell. But 12 bucks. That's an insult, and quite laughable. I thanked the associates and declined the offer. They have a tough job. I can only imagine how some customers can be. But I'd rather continue my online selling."

"Over the last 5 or so months I've brought in 3+ bags of clothing over the weeks. Today I brought in a huge bag filled with festival and ravewear clothing, and some workout joggers. I got $17 for 4 items (none of which were rave clothes) and one of the items they took was from a thrift store initially. I was told the clothes I brought were out of style or too well loved even though every festival item is in great condition, washed and worn no more than 3x . The last time I was here I brought in 12 pairs of professional / work pants from old navy. None were taken and I was told to try clothes mentor as their styles are more professional. This obviously lead me to believe that Plato's would take most of my rave clothing but that isn't the case. Giving up on this place lol."

"As someone who worked at Plato’s many years ago, I was disappointed by the service I received while I was there. I found the selection of clothes okay and the prices were alright (for the condition some of the Vans shoes were in, def overpriced. You can buy a brand new pair for $10 more). However, for the service I was given by the employees, I wouldn’t recommend shopping here, unless you are just looking for a deal and don’t care about being treated friendly. There was one employee working the fitting room that basically just said whenever one is open to grab it. Didn’t count my items or anything (even though I know there was a limit). But what was truly disheartening was those working the register. While waiting to checkout I heard those at the buy counter very loudly talking about how awful the condition of some of the clothes were that some people brought in to sell and while one person came back from their break that it’s “much worse then you could imagine.” The employee that checked me did not ask me if I found everything okay and while they rang up, my clothes just balled them up and threw them in the bag. After I paid I received no “thanks for shopping” or “hope you have a good day.” She just threw my receipt in the bag and sent me on my way. I felt like I was a bother rather then a customer. I really don’t expect high level of service but from my experience today, there was barely any service at all. All I experienced was employees complaining about customers and a step slightly above self check out. Again, if you are just looking for a deal and don’t care how you are treated, then this place will meet your expectations."

"My daughter found several items for her summer wardrobe. Overall, the quality and selection is great and the prices are fair."
