No one even asked about suicidal or homicidal ideation/thoughts (yes I am also a social worker). Please do yourself a favor, especially if you are struggling with postpartum depression and do.not. go. here."

"terribly due to negligence of these Physicians misdiagnosing and not treating her for stage 4 endometrium cancer. They told her she had a tight pelvis and prescribed pt. They would not perform a hysteroscopy and said to schedule it for May of 2023. We spent New Years Eve at Magee Women's Hospital where she spent 15 days in the hospital in severe pain & agony. She is a newlywed of 6 weeks and this is devastating!!beware of these doctors! . Christi Gaudiano PA .They throw a PA at you & guess."

"I had my appointment with Claire Steiner the CRNP. I cannot say enough good things about her. I had a previous experience that did not go well at another location, so going into it I was terrified. She really put me at ease. She talked through everything she was doing, always asking for my consent. She truly listened to my concerns, and I did not feel judged at all. Thank you Claire!"

"Went there for a consultation for ECV - I normally deal with the Midwife Center in the Strip District for my prenatal/birth plan (which I cannot recommend highly enough). As to be expected from UPMC, pessimism was abound and little beside manner is to be found. The receptionist was rude - she immediately handed me a urine sample cup and pointed to the bathroom without so much as a greeting (I don't understand why a urine sample was needed for a discussion) and neither of the girls were kind on my way out. While the physician leading the discussion of my options for my footling breech baby was sweet, she really pushed for me to schedule a c-section versus trying ECV and aiming for natural birth, as if surgery is an everyday process and doesn't mess with your body and your hormones. I'm glad I won't have to return for the ECV. I'm hoping my procedure goes well and I can avoid UPMC's "woman's care" centers and Magee hospital all together. If you're looking to cater to your OBGYN's every whim for your birth, this place is perfect for you. If you'd like to have a say, I suggest you seek elsewhere."

"Extremely dissatisfied. My pelvic exam was mishandled to such an extent I questioned the dexterity of the clinician. I was treated quite roughly. And when I questioned the CRNP who did my exam, they told me my body had too many nerves too close to the surface. The staff and practitioners I had contact with were clearly overburdened, rushed, and crashed around the room to the point they startled me - I considered getting off the table and leaving the room. I wish I would have. I chose to go to this location because it was close to my home. Huge Mistake."
