"When I first met Kevin, I remember being struck by his professionalism, kindness, and knowledge of his field. Those traits have remained strong throughout each of the times that he has met with me. As a professional, Kevin is the consummate example of someone who respects the rules of his practice and the comfort of his patients. His first priority is to assure that physical therapy provides the support that we need. My first issue, which brought me to PT, was my sprained ankle. Kevin began the appointment by asking me what I had done, what my goals were, and what I needed from him. This first encounter established the type of profession that Kevin is: one who cares very deeply about his patients. Continuing with this care of patients, Kevin is very kind and empathetic. He listens to the issues that I am having and relates to my life. We share jokes and puns, which creates an atmosphere of caring about his patients as individuals first and foremost. One of the ways that Kevin provides this type of care is by encouraging his patients to call him Kevin, but doing so took me about a year because I respect him as a doctor! However, by encouraging his patients to call him Kevin, he provides another level of comfort and individualism. Although his personality is one of the best reasons for working with Kevin, I would be remiss if I did not include how intelligent he is! Although I began with my ankle, Kevin has assisted me with my back and shoulder. What always astounds me is that I can point to one area and tell him my issue, and he immediately knows what to do! In addition, when I have questions concerning how my muscles work together, Kevin is always so excited to share the reasons! Kevin has so much passion for making people feel better! While I was nervous about going to PT at the beginning, I can honestly say that I look forward to appointments with Kevin because I know that not only will he help whatever hurts that day, but he will also make me laugh and feel valued! I cannot thank Kevin enough for helping me to feel well enough to achieve those goals from my first visit!"
