"July 19, I went there for breakfast. I wanted pancakes decribed on the breakfast menu. I didn't want the buffet. The hostess sat us down. She didnt ask if we wanted to order from menu or buffet. No options were provided. I then told her I wanted to order from kitchen. She says she will get the waiter. Waiter comes : I tell him I want to order from the kitchen. Instead of making an order for pancakes, he talks me into the buffet which we didnt want. So I order the buffet. The chocolate pancakes were hard and the edges were dry. Dissatisfied and Disappointed. Waste of money. Very bad service. Its like he didn't want to be bothered to take my order. Why is there an option to order pancakes on the menu? The only reason im giving 3 stars was because on the previous day 7/18 Mohammed gave excellent impeccable service. And he was doing it all with no help. So I know the standard is there."
"I’m giving this a 1 star because this isn’t really a restaurant. I arrived at 7pm trying to get some dinner, but it was closed, even though the opening times said it should have been open. When I asked for a manager a 20-something guy appeared in chinos and a light blue polo. He said they randomly closed because they weren’t expecting enough people to keep the restaurant open. This doesn’t bode well for the new chef that supposedly started a couple of weeks ago. This restaurant is an extension of the hotel - mainly serves breakfast buffet - and none of the staff take this restaurant seriously. Better to look elsewhere."
"We have a new Executive Chef George Fassiadis at cityhouse. He has brought an exciting new flair to the menu. I encourage all to stop by and try the new menu!"
"We had to stop here for breakfast for lack of time and I’m glad we did. Outside of the waitresses having a bit of attitude and being a little pushy to try and get us to order the buffet it was a good experience. Not everyone needs all you can eat and most often it’s a waste of money. I felt like they had quite a few options and as far as hotel hot buffets go, the food looked appetizing and my kids were happy. Two different kinds of sausage, omelets to order, smoothie shots and berry parfaits were among the options. I ordered the oatmeal with various toppings and enjoyed it. The waitress redeemed herself by providing kids to go cups and facilitating a speedy check out."
"Ate "brunch" here because we were staying at the Hyatt Arlington and needed a quick place to eat. What should have been a quick decent meal, turned into a long drawn out process with extremely over priced food and service. Definitely not what you would expect to receive on a Hyatt property. The staff was slow, short and for the most part confused us all while trying to learn more about a couple menu items. The menu it's self was very very basic with not a lot of depth. As for the food itself, I'm not sure if they ran to crappy version of Denny's to get our food or if there was really a kitchen staff back there making it. Took around 20 minute for two basic omelettes, a single scrambled egg and a bagel. Again, the quality of the food was definitely not what you would expect. Highly recommend passing on this place although it's extremely convenient, unless you like over priced sub par food. Only reason it gets a 2/5 is the convenience."
