Kids Special African Braiding

"I came here to they back to school free hairstyle day. I got there at 845 am Me and My children waited for hours from 845 am to 7 pm outside in the heat. Only for my girls to leave there in tears because they said they wasn't doing anyone else hair. I appreciate the fact they was doing it for free but it definitely got real unorganized real fast . People was leaving in me and my children still sat out there patiently . Yet nobody apologies to us nor acknowledge how long we was waiting. I understand its free. But it seems like the ppl who was patiently waiting didn't get anything . Verse the aggressive ppl who got the kids hair done. Was really looking forward to see how good they work was. But yet again we waited patiently only for my kids to leave there crying and upset with nothing done. I'm very disappointed was hoping for a good turn out but we left with nothing done ."

"I had a HORRIBLE first time experience there. Here's why: 1) While I sat in the chair waiting to get my hair done, they young lady (name unknown) was texting for about 20 minutes after I arrived for my appointment on time. Bad first impression! 2) She braided too tight when I was getting my Senegalese twists installed. Be concerned about your edges before considering getting your hair braided at this location. 3) After getting braids in the past, I'm only used to it being a ONE MAN JOB during the braiding process. They had 3 PEOPLE taking turns on my hair which I was not fond of since everyone has different methods and techniques when braiding and twisting. (I was worried about my twists not being consistent as far as the direction of them being twisted). This information should have been explained prior to starting to ensure the customers comfortability. 4) Without notification, they each would randomly stop doing my hair, to hold conversations on their cellphones or with each other all while eating a full course meal, a full plate of food. I didn't appreciate that at all as I do value my precious time. 5) Instead of asking me to tilt my head in the direction needed, she pulled my own hair as a way to let me know. I let that happened about 3 times before I went off on her. 6) Not to mention, that after having so much pain, I took my braids out two days later only to find out that she CUT MY REAL HAIR while trying to cut the flyaways from each braid after twisting it! NEVER AGAIN! I would not recommend anyone going to this shop after this experience! - One Angry Client"
