"They made my aunt wait in the room for over an hour even though she was the first appt of the day. They love to make everyone take a covid test so they can charge them. The doctor put her on medication with a side effect of dizziness when she was already there for dizziness. I do not recommend anyone go here."
"On 8/25/23, I walked into the office with excitement about the possibility of having a female of color as my primary care provider. Since I had recently moved to the area, I was looking forward to this visit. Upon arrival, I was asked to complete a considerable amount of paperwork. After finishing, I handed it to the front desk and was given more forms to fill out. Before receiving the second set of forms, I was also required to pay a $20 copay for my visit, which I did. As I started reading through the forms, I was taken aback by the unusual policies outlined. The office charged $40 for cancellations, $75 for canceling a physical appointment, even acknowledging unforeseen circumstances, and $5 for prescription refills over the phone. Furthermore, there was a $25 fee to receive a phone call about my lab results from a doctor. This was an unexpected and significant addition to healthcare costs. Because I disagreed with many of these policies, I informed the front desk that I would not sign them and wished to leave. Interestingly, just before this, another patient walked out, frustrated about a 35-minute wait and requested a refund of her copay. Witnessing this incident made me reconsider staying as well. When I told the front desk about my decision to leave, they mentioned a $40 cancellation fee. I questioned this, as I hadn't canceled my appointment; I simply disagreed with the policies that were revealed only upon arrival. Notably, they had already collected $20 for the copay. This situation felt orchestrated and unsettling. I requested to speak to someone else, and later, I was informed that I wouldn't be charged that day. However, there was a possibility of receiving a bill in the future if the doctor decided otherwise. Essentially, I ended up paying $20 to fill out basic information forms and faced a second set of unreasonable policy forms. My choice not to sign them might result in a bill being sent to me. In conclusion, do not go to this office. Save your money, save your sanity, stay away from this place."
"The last time I went to Dr.Waddell was in 2018 and 4 years later that appointment sticks with me. I was experiencing hair loss and was very concerned there could be something happening internally. I was hoping she would run some tests/blood work but no... her medical advice was to "shave my hair off and start fresh". Until this day, I'm shocked at that "medical guidance". Honestly going to Dr. Waddell was borderline a traumatizing experience I have not wanted to go and see a Doctor ever since. P.S. I referred my mom there prior to that appointment with her and she had an all around bad experience as well."
"I was looking for a new pcp and I found Dr. Waddell. I should have read the reviews, because nothing has changed. Dr. Waddell bedside manners are terrible. She is very judgmental and rude. I lost over 100 pounds a few years ago and she mentions "I hope you don't gain it back; a lot of my patients gain the weight back". Oh' that sounds very encouraging coming from my doctor! Don't worry, I am not one of your patients, I deactivated my account with the office. I didn't find her helpful or someone that I feel safe to call about my medical issues. Hopefully she will get some training on how to talk to her patients."
"Dr. Waddell does not have the best bedside manner. She is borderline rude. It felt like my entire existence was a nuisance to her. On top of that, I had at least a 1 hour wait in the waiting room before being seen by the assistant, then it was another 30-45 min before I saw the doctor. Additionally, if you look at the office's website, you can see they nickel and dime you for every little thing. Maybe I'm unrealistic but I have higher standards for a primary care physician's office."
