"Recently, I began working with Sonia Palmieri at Tranquil Healthcare. Her Virginia location is tucked inside Del Ray Psych & Wellness in Alexandria, and trust me; it's worth a visit. My first KAP (Ketamine Assisted Therapy) group session was...well, it was mind-blowing. This therapy gets right down to the root of your issues fast. I had stuff come up that I've been lugging around for years. There were a couple of moments when I was having trouble letting go, but Sonia knew her stuff and guided me through it. Part of the KAP journey was setting my intentions with Sonia. During the one-on-one session, she was my personal guide through the good, the bad, and the ugly. I'd feel joy and pain, and Sonia would be right there, helping me make sense of it all. By the end of it, I was feeling lighter, and seriously, I can't remember the last time I felt so full of joy and love. It's tricky to explain how much this journey with Sonia has changed me. I know one thing for sure: I want to do it again, to see what else I can learn about myself. Sonia and the Del Ray team have created the perfect space for this kind of deep-dive healing.
