"I frequent the pancake House and La Plata Maryland which closed down about 10 to 15 years ago. It was open for about 40 to 50 years. I never knew there was one in the DC area. Food is pretty good"
"So it’s been 20 years since my wife and I visited Maryland and had breakfast there. It was a cold windy day and we stood in a line that wrapped around the building, for probably an hour. Once inside and seated we had a breakfast experience that we still talk about to our family , friends, and even strangers 20 years later. The food was fantastic, everyone we met both standing in line and the employees inside were such great people. It’s an experience neither one of us will ever forget, and I am so thankful to have had the pleasure of eating a single meal there."
