"Dr. Pellicoro has been my kids ped dr for almost 25 yrs. Not once have I had an issue or couldn't get a response. My older 2 are 23 & 25, but my baby is 13 and he will be there until 18"
"My daughter was seen by Dr. Jill Pellicoro at The Children’s Pediatrician Associates in Waldorf, MD. I am also a healthcare provider, but a mom first. When my daughter’s earache from what we believed to be swimmer’s ear started to present as a sinus infection (she has a history of asthma and allergies, sinus and middle ear infections), I knew that she would need antibiotics to treat it since her symptoms were persistent and worsening despite the use of homeopathic remedies and OTC meds. Dr. Pellicoro has terrible bedside manners with an undertone of rudeness and lack of empathy for her patients. During the visit, instead of listening to our concerns, she lectured me on how Americans abuse and overprescribe medications/antibiotics for conditions that don’t warrant them compared to European countries. She was visibly frustrated about our disagreement on my daughter’s treatment plan and ended up storming out of the treatment room. Not once did my child feel safe or cared for by this pediatrician. I’ve given this doctor so many opportunities to provide quality and compassionate care, but she’s consistently let us down. We will not be returning to her."
"If I could give this physician no stars I definitely would. She is rude and can care less about the patients in this practice. My 21 year old has a complex about herself to this day due to Dr. Pellicoro's rude and hurtful comments she made to her about her weight 15 years ago. I allowed her to do an e-visit with my son today (thinking she would be more mature) and low and behold by the time he got off the visit he was in tears and called himself fat the whole day because of the ignorant comments she made withOUT asking any other info about his height or body style. She is the most unprofessional doctor I have ever seen and should have her license revoked. She has no bedside manners at all, and she does not know the lasting effects she has on children with her comments, sarcasm, and nasty attitude."
