"R&L out of Birmingham, Alabama was responsible for delivering our freight order. We placed the order on 6/28, with an estimated delivery date of 6/30. The date came and went, but since it was a holiday weekend I figured there were delays. I finally called Lowe’s on 7/5 and they told me my order was being shipped through R&L, so I called them. I was told my order would be delivered the next day. The next day, the truck couldn’t get through our neighborhood (fair, it’s very small), but the dispatcher called us and asked if we would come pick up our large freight order by meeting the truck driver somewhere - this is not what paying for delivery service means. They told me they would have to reschedule the delivery for 7/6 on a smaller truck. That day came and went. On Tuesday, 7/10, I called again and was told my shipment had marked lost but was now found (it was sitting on their loading dock, according to the woman I talked to). I was told they would call me back that afternoon with a delivery date. They did not. I called again on 7/12, and was able to schedule for 7/13. The day came and went with no delivery, despite me getting a text alert that the order was out for delivery. It has now been over two weeks, I’ve taken four days off work to wait for a shipment that has never come, and R&L is willfully and negligently withholding my property. I wouldn’t trust this company with any of your logistics needs, ever. Buyers won’t get their property, and you will look terrible using them as a vendor. I will never buy from Lowe’s again because of this."
