"Wife and I wanted to go to the federal originally, but they were very busy, so ended up two doors down at this establishment. Excellent food, very friendly, bartenders, and service people, perhaps a stroke of luck. The federal was busy. Would go back there in a heartbeat. my wife had the grilled chicken sandwich and I had the West 34 burger. Both were excellent."

"Stumbled across this gem! The food was spectacular! The tips and grits from the starter menu are the perfect portion size for those with a lighter appetite or someone wanting to make sure there's room for dessert. The shrimp and grits comes with a side salad; the house dressing is out of this world. The staff was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was great for a night out with friends. Best dining experience I've had in a long time. Definitely my go to restaurant next time I'm in Youngstown for a concert."

"The Gouda Melts appetizer was delicious and so were our entrees! We had the Crab Calabrese (blue crab, crispy pork calabrese, bacon, and linguine) and Steak 34 (sirloin and grilled shrimp with mesquite honey butter) with grilled sprouts that had a peach bbq sauce. Most everything was delicious but I recommend avoiding the dessert! We had a slice of the "cheesecake" but after a couple of bites we sent it back. It was gritty and something was off. The waiter said "maybe there's too much spice in it" but there were bigger issues than that. I don't recall an apology, he just removed it from the bill and away we went. Stopped at the grocery store to get dessert before coming home."

"Service was excellent, Kylie did a great job explaining the menu and she made some great recommendations. I got the peanut butter burger and it was fantastic. We also got the chicken bites for an appetizer, they were good but will try something else next time."

"Went on a Wed evening. Only a handful of customers at the time. Bartender and server extremely friendly and attentive. I got the chicken, shrimp, and grits. The chicken was moist and crispy with good flavor. The shrimp was slightly over done but good size with good breading. Grits cooked well not to much of a cheese flavor though. I didn't taste any of the honey and I think the dish could use some type of acid or fruit chutney. My boyfriend got the 34 melt. It was cooked correctly and the fries where crunchy. Over all the food was great."
