"The Barb-Lin team contacted me promptly after an online estimate request. We had someone out to my home to provide an estimate and work scheduled within two days. They took the time to review the plan with me. The men who came out to do the work were thorough, kind, and over-delivered in their work. Thank you so much, we will use again. We had new carpet pad and nail track installed, existing carpet stretched and re-installed, stair carpet stapled/repaired in multiple areas and hallway carpeting stretched."

"Had wood floor installed, good experience with installation. Had carpet installed, also a good experience. Had tile installed in kitchen, a nightmare. First they didn’t take up old tile as was requested. They ran the tile the opposite way we requested saying it was because of how the beams ran under the floor (the wood floor installers ran the wood floor with the beams and it is the opposite of the tile). And because they didn’t take up the old tile we had to pull up the new tile to put in a dishwasher when our old went out. They also put huge dents into our brand new refrigerator. Will never use them again!"

"These are photos of hardwood I was assured would match. Obviously they don’t and two store employees agreed but 7 weeks after I was told I would get a call back I am still waiting on a call back. Today I spoke to the owner and he commented that that this issue was closed but he didn’t seem to be aware. Very poor customer service. I guess we will see if they will make it right."

"As an update to our review - John, the President, of Barb-Lin reached out to us about our concerns and experience. John mentioned to us this is not consistent with the quality of work delivered. We scheduled a walk through so that John could see the our floors firsthand. After seeing the quality of the install John arranged for us to have the floors re-installed. The re-install went extremely smooth, only taking 1 day, and resolved all of our concerns left from the original poor install. As we are a repeat customer of Barb-Lin, it was reassuring to have them stand behind their work and ensure high quality work is always delivered. Because of this we are changing out review to 5-stars. While it would have been even better to have a proper install the first time around, it’s also important companies stand behind their product when things don’t go well."

"My partner and I had the carpet replaced in our entire condo about a year ago and chose Barb-Lin since the company specializes in carpet install. Bad choice, remember that the carpet installation is only as good as the installers Barb-Lin contracts with. I have say, the two men we were given are a disgrace to the carpet install industry. We arranged our installation during Covid with our installers arriving without shoe coverings and without masks. Huge issue and when asked them to wear them, we were told they did not have either with them. This was the first sign that the team was unprofessional. They proceeded to move our furniture out of the way banging and scratching our wood pieces and taking chips out of the door edges. I was furious and asked them to be careful, our pieces were damaged. We have a dining room buffet that was filled with dishes and china, they wanted to flip that piece on its side filled with dishes, until we told them no. We complained to Barb-Lin multiple times. The original install team has been back, explaining that the seams would disappear once the carpet replaced, the seams are still visible, one running through the center of our living room. The edges are frayed and losing carpet weekly as the carpet ages. Barb-Lin did send out a customer service sales contact who agreed that the seam looked like it needed extra work and that the edges needed to be trimmed. Well, out came the same two installers who proceeded to bang more furniture and attempt to remove the seams. We were told to be patient, the seems would disappear. Sad to say that the seams are still visible, the edges are still frayed and our furniture is still scratched. I would suggest questioning the installation process with the sales person and having your guidelines placed in writing to avoid a discrepancy further down the road."
