"Gina and the team did an excellent job catering my party for 80 people. They delivered the food hot and ready to put in chaffing dishes. The food was absolutely perfect. La scalla’s meatballs, cheesesteak egg rolls , chicken parm sandwiches, beet salad, chopped salad and pastas were delicious. There was more than enough and the crowd was impressed!! I highly recommend for any party. We will be coming back!!!! Thank you La Scala’s Pronto!!"
"$54 for a meatball dinner, arancini, two desserts, and a 20 oz. soda. The server who rung me up was very nice and professional. The food, however, was disappointing. The meatballs were made with zero love. They even skip the searing process and are made with very cheap ground beef. This is just unacceptable. Secondly, the Arancini with "ham" are weak. There was a couple pieces of miniscule ham in mine (see picture) and I would be willing to bet this is just the left over lunch meat from making hoagies. Their "famous" marinara sauce is simply not good. It is way too sweet, and they definitely add a bunch of sugar to their sauce. Also, the rigatoni was overcooked mush and kind of had a calamari taste to it Major L. The only redeeming qualities were the single piece of bread they gave me was actually good, and the Tiramisu was decent. (not worth the $8.50, though)."
"Got 3 pizzas. Ordered online. Showed up when food was supposed to be ready and had to wait 20 minutes. With the tip (paid ahead of time), I paid about 80 bucks for 3 pizzas. The crust was okay but there was too much flavorless cheese and the pies were falling apart. Really poor pizza construction. The worst was the white veggie pizza - they put whole tomato slices under the cheese so when you picked it up, everything just slid off in a hot slimy tomato mess. I would not recommend and will not be going back."
"I can never understand how it is possible to make a really bad pizza pie. I ordered a large pie for delivery and I have to say this was the worst pizza I've had in over 10 years. Bland as could be, absolutely no taste to it at all. It really was a waste of effort eating it. I have ordered from here before and while it has never been outstanding it has never been down right as bad as this last pizza was. I will have to be really desperate for pizza delivery to order from here again."
