"April Garison was always responsive and helpful through the entire process. ADU is where I will tell anyone looking for appliances to go. My oven was delivered ahead of schedule. The outside contractor they work with, Elite, also go above and beyond. Never go to Bray and Scarf. Working with them was a nightmare."
"I renovated my kitchen and purchased all my appliances through ADU after shopping around and not having great experiences at another store. The service is stellar. In full disclosure, my project was not an easy one, but ADU was great- everyone I worked with was committed to resolving the issues we faced with the faulty unit. I actually felt like I was going crazy, so I imagine I have not been easy to work with. Despite everything we encountered with my refrigerator, ADU truly provided customer service that is above and beyond. Thank you again for all your time!"
"I wanted a not widely available washing machine, and ADU was listed as a supplier on the manufacturer’s website. I reached out with some questions and ultimately ended up purchasing both a washer and dryer (not because they made a hard sell!). The process was SO EASY from start to finish. My account manager (April) was responsive to all my questions, the delivery team did a great job, and any issues were resolved quicky and easily. Will definitely be buying future appliances from ADU!"
"Update: Christy, one of the owners of ADU, called me after I posted this review and has been incredibly helpful. Since talking to her, the sales reps have given me weekly updates regarding the status of my ordered appliances without me needing to reach out first. Thank you Christy, and I hope all future customers can receive this type of customer service from the sales reps. My experience with ADU started off well with a visit to the showroom, but has been disappointing and frustrating since then. After meeting with my sales rep, Krystal, at the showroom, I was told I would have quotes for the appliances I was interested in purchasing by the end of the following week, but never heard back from her. I had to reach out and ask for the quote, and this poor customer service has continued ever since. I purchased a full set of new kitchen appliances from ADU at the beginning of July and I have had to initiate every correspondence with Krystal since then to get an update on my order. She gave me an estimated time frame for when the appliances would arrive at the warehouse (after I explicitly asked), but never let me know they had arrived nor contacted me to schedule installation. I asked her about the installation process (whether there would be an install window or if I’d be given a specific time I needed to be home for install), and she simply replied with delivery and installation dates. She did not answer my questions about time frames, did not ask if those days worked for me, and provided me with no further information about why delivery and install were on different days. Once I finally received the appliances and had someone come out to install, I was told the dishwasher could not be installed because my existing dishwasher was hardwired and the new one required a plug. The installation person said he wished the sales reps would start telling clients to check for this; this is a clear lack of communication amongst ADU that can easily be fixed. Because of this oversight on Krystal’s part, I currently have two non-functioning dishwashers in my kitchen, and the next available installation date is not for over two weeks. It’s worth noting that I contacted Krystal last Thursday (8/3) to set up the next installation date, and after saying she’d reach out to the installation team to ask, she failed to get back to me and did not respond to my follow-up email today. I ended up calling the logistics team directly to ask about installation and then (not coincidentally) heard back from Krystal within the hour. After the amount of money I spent on new appliances with ADU, I fully expected exceptional customer service; calling my experience mediocre would be overly generous. ADU still has a chance to make this right and for me to change my review, but if their responses to other negative reviews are any sign, I fully expect a copy and pasted ‘apology’ if they respond at all. I would love to be proven wrong."
"I DO NOT recommend ADU. My order consisted of Wolf range, Cove Dishwasher, and Sub Zero refrigerator, for the amount I paid for appliances I would assume they had better customer service. The pricing was the same as other vendors. I wished I had purchased from the competitor. I have to call and ask about the status of my order. I also have to call to schedule delivery. The refrigerator installation has been a nightmare. It was delivered and I have lived over a month with the appliance in the kitchen unplugged, taking up space. It is a hazard to children, this appliance due to its weight can fall. Which is the reason they want a certified installer. I had an installation date and the gentleman was not able to install due to the opening being too big and the electrical needed to be moved. It could easily be handled if someone had scheduled a site visit prior to installation but ADU failed to take this step. After the cabinet and electrical work were complete I received a new installation date and somehow it was canceled. I again called to ask for a new installation date, I don't think it's up to the customer to be chasing the vendor. I am still waiting for the range to arrive in August. I demanded a site survey since I didn't get one for the refrigerator. I assume the same issues will happen next month with the range. Very disappointed. Save your time and money and buy from other vendors. I do not blame Sub-Zero, Wolf for these issues, but they should be aware of who they do business with. ADU has taken the excitement from the purchase. I am not looking forward to these appliances and the issues they bring getting everything set up."
