"My wife took our taxes to Block this year. There was no up front pricing offered and when she asked, the preparer she had said, there's no way to say, and it depended how long it would take. Had it been me, I would have asked for management or walked out. But I am disabled, and stuck in bed. We were charged just under $500. This was OUTRAGEOUS! Had I been able, as I had for many years before, I could have done them myself on Turbotax in not a second more than 30 mins. His woman who did them at Block, wasted over 2 hours! Mostly reading her computer screen, and then going back to reread it time and again. I can't say which, but she was either incompetent or padding our bill. I will never use this company again! I have a social media channel with 740 thousand subscribers. I will be sharing this information with them all. I can guarantee that the majority of my subscribers will not be using H&R Block in the future."
