"Great doctor but terrible practice. He overschedules appointments daily, probably to maximize billing to Medicare. Delivered both my babies but i wouldnt go back. Be prepared to wait 2 hours + for every single appointment!! Office is so busy that womej have to stand up in waiting room or in a line in the hallway. Ause there cant be that many chairs in one waiting room. Just isn't worth the 3-4 hour appointments each week."

"Dr Ali delivered my first born child via c section when I was 22 years old. I remember the day like yesterday. I was overdue without progression and it was decided a c section would be best. I was very scared being not only a first time mom But having a major surgery was terrifying. I was getting prepped for surgery, a crying mess, and I will never forget dr Ali hugged me and told me he wouldn’t let anything bad happen to me. And he made good on his promise! Delivered my son via c section July 2nd 2013. A few short years later I became pregnant with my second child and he was my doctor throughout the pregnancy with another successful c section to follow except this time I wasn’t scared, I knew I was in the best hands. I just found out I am expecting again 10 years after the first child and I will be making an appointment Monday morning to be seen for this pregnancy by Dr Ali. The office is very busy but it’s the price you pay for an amazing doctor. Dr ali has a special place in my heart and I can’t wait to start seeing him again regularly!"

"No star deserved at all for the foul rude old man to be treating woman the way I was treated today it doesn’t even matter that I’m a black woman just because of me being “ on state insurance” and him probably getting away with this type of work for so long it does me no good to go into the details of how horrible I feel crying walking out as usual and I know things will never change!! He is mean nasty and purposely meant to hurt me even more than the pain I was already suffering from. I wish for once I could find a caring obgyn one day as a 40 year old woman who has no trust in the medical system designed for women with state medical insurance!!!!!"

He performed a life changing surgery for me in November 2020 and he went above and beyond and far exceeded my expectations (I expected nothing but the best) and my surgery was 100% successful. He is a phenomenal Doctor and Surgeon and a Blessing. He has a beautiful spirit and is very kind, compassionate, empathetic and I can go on and on. I feel like family. I love him and his office team and surgical team at MedStar. I can’t thank him and his office team and hospital team enough. He and his Teams are God sent."

"I've been seeing Dr. Ali for 23 years. Not only is he extremely professional but he has the best bedside manner I've ever come across. He truly cares for people and always has a big smile. I refer him anytime I can to all of my friends and family. The biggest complaint I hear is the wait time. My reply is simply "he's worth the wait". Dr. Ali delivered both of my children after many years of unfortunate losses. His knowledge, professionalism and compassion are all of the traits I look for in a physician. I told him at my last visit he better never retire because he will be a tough act to follow."
