"I saw Monica Dale when I was pregnant with my son. Most appointments were fine, routine. Toward the end of my pregnancy (38w) she was doing some tests and found “low fluid” and baby had a “non reactive test”. She sent me to the hospital with these words “go to the hospital and have a baby”. I was not dilated and I was not in labor. I was terrified something was wrong with my baby so I went to the hospital. When I got there they did an ultrasound and found normal fluid levels and miles of reactive tests from baby. They sent me home. Dr. Dale said she was concerned that I didn’t have a baby and tried to get me to go back to the hospital for an induction. I swear all these doctors just fear monger. They want to control how you labor, how you birth. They scare you into consenting to an induction at 39w even though inductions almost ALWAYS slow labor down. Dr. Dale is probably a competent doctor and a not horrible person. But her bedside manor leaves something to be desired, she doesn’t strike me as someone who really cares about her patients. I strongly encourage all pregnant women to LEARN as much as they can about physiological birth and get a midwife and a doula. Every insurance except Kaiser will let you birth at a birthing center. Kaiser Permanente leaves a lot to be desired. I can honestly say I have not had one pleasant or positive experience there. I recently switched to united healthcare and couldn’t be happier. No one has actually contacted me to talk about my experience here. The comment below is a lie."

She will tell you she is very concerned but her actions show otherwise. She also had a bad experience with an appointment with her that made her seek another gyno."
