"The college board office says they have absolutely no appointments for the SAT for my child within 50 miles. Not one this year. We live within 12 miles of a city of four million people. They suggested we keep calling and calling in case another family cancels. I don’t understand this. If this test is mandatory to get in college, why doesn’t CB make adequate appointments for all kids? They only seem concerned with repeatedly demanding the right to sell my child’s personal information. Nice to be a monopoly."

"All the College Board cares about is $ and is completely in efficient! I was just on the phone with a customer service representative for 20 minutes who informed me that they NEVER SUBMITTED the SAT scores to a University that was requested over 2 months ago. The only reason I even called was because I found out from the University that this was the only hold up to the admissions process! I asked to speak to a supervisor the customer service representative said there was NO SUPERVISOR to speak with! He told me it would take an additional 2 weeks to submit, I told him that was too late, so he insisted on adding a surcharge for a 1 - 2 business day submission. So it cost me again having to deal with this firm! We have to pay them for SAT, AP tests and then again to have them submit these scores again to the Universities (assuming they do it right...) Why is this allowed to continue? They are holding all aspiring college students hostage!"
