"My daughter had a herniated L5 disc and that disc is also degenerated. Her leg would go numb and was weak. After several trips to the chiropractor and physical therapist and an epidural injection she had no relief. After talking with Dr. Muccio at tristate neurology we were confident that surgery was the next step. She expected to have some relief from the surgery but says she didn't expect it to work as well as it did. She is only 20 years old so we are very thankful for the healing from the surgery. Dr. Muccio was very kind as well as his P.A.'s. She had a lot of discomfort for the first week and a half but says it was worth it and is glad she had the surgery done. We had to call the office several times after the surgery for the first few days after the surgery for questions or concerns and they were always good about getting back to us. We would recommend Dr. Muccio at tristate neurology."
"Would not recommend took my 90 year old aunt and they said their was nothing they could do for her. Took her to Cleveland Clinic they said they could help and they did. Three years later and she is back to driving and doing fantastic. They claimed that in a person that old you could not put a shunt in to relieve pressure on the brain. I guess they need to go back to school. Would not recommend any of the Erie Neurosurgeons since all of them must have gone to the same school and missed the class on human compassion and that the elderly are still valuable members of society.
