She was unwilling to make any accommodations to meet us another day and was quite unapologetic about her mistake. While her missed-appointments policy is very strict, approx. $200 without 24 hour notice--what happens when the tables are turned and she doesn't show up for you? In this case, absolutely nothing! No accountability/No flexibility. Everyone makes mistakes, but it's what you do about it that matters. Therapy requires a commitment by all parties and when you cannot count on your therapist to show up, it is not only a waste of time but a source or unnecessary stress and anxiety."
