"If I could, I would rate it -5 stars. The doctor that I had was by far the meanest person I have ever come across. Told me there wasn’t an a magic pill to fix all my problems, and that I wasn’t doing enough at home to fix it. no tests were done and I was sent away with The advice to take an Alka-Seltzer. Two days later I get in with a new doctor and am immediately diagnosed with pneumonia… so thanks a lot for all your help.. The doctor at Lourdes told me my lungs were perfectly clear."

"Absolutely terrible walk in experience. Needed a strep swab, made an in quicker appointment for 3pm, still in the waiting room an hour later. People reeking of cigarette smoke, talking on their phone. Took over an hour to get called back. Staff was nice once back however very slow and meds sent to wrong pharmacy. Provider was nice but did not listen to meds that have worked prior. Will avoid in the future."

"I had a 10:20 am appointment today. I got called in at 10:20 am and my vitals were done. I asked the nurse not to shut my door so she cracked it and someone walked by and shut my door, it was 11:10 am when I walked out. I told the nurse I was claustrophobic and that’s when she left the door cracked open and then somebody shut the door. I make an appointment I expect to be seen not sit in a room for almost 45 minutes waiting."

"I had such a positive experience here today. I’ve struggled with medical trauma for years now, so I am naturally hesitant (if not outright refusing to go to medical facilities). My husband called in advance, the receptionist told him they’ll get me right in. We showed up, and that’s exactly what they did. Tammy was an outstanding nurse, knew how to lighten the mood in just the right way. I haven’t laughed so hard in a while. The nurse practitioner came in and was all business, but showed empathy and human compassion. I am feeling so thankful for quality health care professionals. I recommend Lourdes to anyone with healthcare trauma. I was heard, there was no dismissive attitudes. I was respected as a human, I was not blamed for my condition as some doctors like to do. Thank you Lourdes for a positive, safe, professional experience!!"

"They aren't the Lourdes they used to be. My husband badly injured his toe end of Sept. He has diabetes so nothing to "just wait and see". He went to the walk-in in Owego 9/22/23. The dr he saw wanted him to come back in to be checked BY HER on 10/4 (today) because we were leaving on the 5th to be out of town. No appt needed, just pop in so she could check it out. Well, we did. Were told over 2 hour wait. There was only one provider. So I went online and Owego had zero appts but Vestal did. I scheduled an appt for 6:00pm. We arrived at Vestal Walk-in about 10 mins to 6. At 10 mins to 7 we were still waiting. Went up and receptionist checked and said one person left ahead of my husband but she had no way to tell how long it would be. And the other one chimed in about "patients seen in order of priority". Really??? What exactly is the point of making an appt online and "waiting at home til your time"?????? I can see an emergency, someone having a severe attack, heart, etc, bad nosebleed, whatever. That is a PRIORITY. But when they encourage you to go online and schedule an appt and then totally ignore that time??? There were others there that had also scheduled appointments online that didn't seem too happy either. First, Owego is only open until 5. By they time they got through all those patients it would be closing time. Vestal is open until 8 but same thing there. So we told her to remove his name from the "list", we were leaving. I have to wonder why they keep acquiring all these properties and opening more and more offices. They closed the northern Tioga County office but keep adding to Broome. But they cannot keep the offices they have staffed. And they don't even act like they care anymore. Absolutely NO regard for anyone's time but if you show up 2 mins late it's the end of the world. Very disappointing. We have been Lourdes patients for many, many years. I don't know if this is the case with UHS and others but our system needs fixing."
