The Bloom at Braddock Apartments

"This building is slowly going down hill and management is getting worse and seems not to care. Everything gets half fixed around here. One of the elevators breaks every weekend while the other has been broken for the past 2-3 months mind you there are handicap/disabled people who are in wheelchairs and on oxygen tanks who cannot go up and down steps. People smoke marijuana in front of the building where I have to walk with my 5 year old I have brought it to the manager Nicoles attention and she has done absolutely nothing about it as it’s still going on mind you there are also “No Smoking” signs posted out front of the building. My AC has been broken for WEEKS! They come to fix it, it works for a day then it’s broken again they’ve come 3 different times to “fix” it again they half fix stuff around here. Now for the 4th time my AC has been broken for 2 weeks. We were told by the office manager Nicole that a part that was needed for the AC would be getting delivered on September 27th and would be getting fixed that same day. It is not October 4th and still no AC. Maintenance came yesterday was here for about 30mins to an hour for lord knows what bc it didn’t get fixed again he said he was missing a part for the motor and would come today 10/4 to fix it. He came again today and again was here for about 30 mins just to tell me AGAIN that’s he’s missing something and will come back tomorrow. It has been almost 90 degrees in my apartment and I have a 5 year old and puppy in my apartment this is not fair nor is it right that we have to suffer bc these people can’t get it together! We have emailed the manager Nicole 4 different times since she’s the one we been communicating with about the situation and no response we have also called the rental office about 25 times and no answer. Today I went down to speak with another manager Ms. Johnson and she brushed me off and just said she would talk with Nicole the same manager who has been ignoring us. Don’t get me started on the cleanliness of the building and the awfully rude maintenance men they have. I thought new management was suppose to come in and make things better but it’s only gotten worse. I’d give ZERO stars if I could I wouldn’t recommend anyone to live here as my experience has been a complete nightmare."

"I took liberty to write the first review. To the naked eye, it’s gorgeous. Once settled in, I saw 5 roaches on my first day here and they have yet to cease. The things throughout the apartment are poorly made and seem to break easily…..i.e. my sink fell in my first couple of weeks here, I found out it’s upheld by a few bolt-like pieces….smh. Management, maintenance, & location are great."
