"Interesting to see that there is another bad review with this practice. I should’ve taken that hint from the start. I was charged for a short initial consultation call (which with my past experience with therapists, have been free of charge). For my first official call, it was cut short. The call was supposed to be a full hour, but was only 50 minutes, since I was told to “journal” my thoughts down for the last 10 minutes— but she hung up on me to leave me alone with my thoughts. Why would I pay for a full hour when it gets cut short? That’s when I decided to stop going to this practice. When I called the office manager to discuss this matter, they were quite degrading on the phone. Knowing how I was upset, they kept calling me “honey” and “sweetie”. Do not do this to your customers."

"Initially my experience with this practice was wonderful. I had a change in insurance and it caused a large back bill. Ultimately I was charged without my consent. The only forewarning I received was a voice message alerting me to call back and make arrangements- follow directly by two charges to my bank account in large monetary amounts. (Literally within ten minutes of the voicemail, giving me no time to call back) When I was finally contacted, I was informed that the charges would be rescinded and my account would be sent to collections. I tried to make arrangements to allow the payment to process, moving forward to pay the remaining balance within a week and terminating services thereafter. I tried to gain understanding as to why this had transpired and was berated and spoken to belligerently- not by my provider but a partner in the practice. I was told, "This doesn't generally happen because people do not allow their balance to collect". All of this after having explained that my insurance changed and by the time I was aware of my co-payment, the amount had become more than I could afford in one lump sum. As someone struggle to cope with mental illness, I would not recommend this practice to friends or clients in the future if you wish to be regarded respectfully and professionally regardless of financial status."
