"They should be consistent about how they check people’s ID’s. I went here with my brother, when we arrived they were offering a beer sampling. He tried their beer, we walked around and I picked up three bottles of wine to buy. When we went to purchase, they said I couldn’t buy them because he didn’t have his license with him. He went out to the car to get it and then I could purchase the wine. I waited for about five minutes while the person at the front smugly held the bottles behind the counter. I don’t recall them asking anyone else for proof of ID. I was the one purchasing the wine, and it seemed too late if my brother was under the age of 21 because they already served him alcohol when we arrived. It was frustrating to say the least, just be weary when you go."
"Really nice shop with a rewards program, online ordering, and a good selection of beers. I would say from the footprint that this place is about 60% focused on Wine/ Spirits and 40% on beer. They have multiple drafts available for filling and a really nice selection of the regular beers plus a lot of crafts. For how much nicer the shop feels, the beer prices are only a little higher than your local beer hole in the wall (and when they do specials, even lower). They don't have a LOT of quantity of each item (feels like you are always grabbing the last 6-back) but they squeeze a lot of variety into a relatively small space. Staff are always friendly and helpful. I REALLY appreciate they offer online ordering/ inventory and they even allow you to sign up for text alerts if something you want becomes available (but TBH never had one appear and get messaged either). Overall, there are some more beer focused stores locally with more variety (ex. Dawson's in SP) BUT they aren't near as nice as this place and don't have all the features. Give them a try!!"
"Solid selection and great service. They often do samples of whiskey, wine, and beer. They also have 10 or so taps for crowlers and growlers but most are local and not very rare. One of the best craft beer selections in the county, I'd wager."
