"Finally, I decided to write a review. I've been a member of Onelife Fitness since 2018 and went to Ballston Gym, which is perfectly fine. After moving to Fairfax, I decided to choose a location that is closer either to work or home. I tried Burke's location, but Tysons is much better. In October 2023, I canceled my membership since I have access to a gym in the apartment building and the gym at my work. Cancellation was smooth without any issues. I just sent an email. Finally, I rejoined Onelifefitness in Tysons and was really happy: spacious, clean, and friendly personnel."

"Their online customer support is confusing and hard to use. I tried to cancel my mother-in-laws gym membership (1 year contract, she has been to the gym 15-20 times total) with 4 months remaining. I emailed customer service and requested the cancellation, they said since its a 1-year contract, I would need to pay $120 to cancel ($40/month membership). Ok, I signed a contact, I said go ahead and cancel it. They emailed me back asking for confirmation again, which I missed due to their inherently confusing system of automatic responses and actual responses, which do not start with the most recent communication. I ended up having to pay for another month and will just ride out the contract at this point. In addition to poor customer service, the gym is, in general, poorly maintained. The gym itself is dirty and the gym equipment is usually strewn all over the place. There are lots of people that work here and there are always people at the front desk, but they seem to not have any role in keeping the place sanitary or in order. There is usually trash left in corners and gym equipment does not get put away for days. The facilities are also poorly maintained: air conditioning in locker room broken for months, steam room constantly under repairs, pool heating system not working and needed to be shut down."

"The gym itself is big, swimming pool, jacuzzi is not so clean, my kid got eye infection once. In steam room used be water pipe to wash up the area before using now it is not available so it is very unhygienic. The management team is very disoriented always provides different and false info. The group work outs are good. Yoga, body pump and etc a good way of motivation."

"Signed up for a one day pass to see if i wanted to join this gym. Less than 4 minutes after completing the online form i received a call from their front desk asking what time i would be in to visit. (I didnt know yet) Kind of weird how fast it was. I went in at 5:20am and like MANY other reviews stated, the front desk was less than helpful and not friendly at all. Seemed annoyed i was there with a one day pass. I know workings at 5am isnt fun but its your job to greet people with a smile and to be helpful. I will not return again. Instead of thanking people for leaving reviews maybe its time to take action. The "greeter" didnt tell me anything about the gym, didnt offer me a sweat towel. Didnt tell me where the lockers were. You know the basics. Much of the equipment is getting old, and clearly 4 squat racks are not enough for the morning crowd. Having more assessable wipes would keep things cleaner as well. A large room or area of the gym would only have 1 cleaning bottle."

"I'd guess the best part of this gym is that it has 2 basketball courts, if you're into playing basketball. It is also pretty big. Otherwise, it really is pretty poor. It is not maintained very well. The men's locker room has not had working A/C most of the summer. They brought in a weak, temporary A/C unit, but it does little to help. I don't understand how they have let that issue go on so long. There is also mildew everywhere in the showers. Really, only good option if you work nearby or love basketball."
