"Customer has always been challenging at the Columbia location now closed and I had one bad experience at the Gambrill's location. Today I was not asked if I wanted a bag for my purchased items and I was sarcastically asked to return my cart outside. I replied sarcastically to the cashier that I appreciate his customer service and him returning the cart."
"My husband and I have traveled from Columbia since the David's near our home closed to visit this store. We make a specific point to shop at an independent locally owned store. However, the employees could be more friendly or simply courteous. We buy vitamins here though they are more expensive than at the big box stores. We buy drinks and snacks on weekends and sit down to check email and sip our drinks at a table placed here for the public. (I am told they brought it in from the old closed store.) But it is becoming harder to do that. The workers leave shopping carts next to us with empty water bottles and a female clerk just asked me to move my wallet resting on a T-shirt lying on the table. Why don't they move the product and put it in a shopper-friendly area? It's as if Starbucks put products for sale on cafe tables and scolded customers if their personal belongings touched them. We don't need to come here or buy the products. It would be easier to go to the Whole Foods near our house. A smile, a thank you is such a small expectation to have for store proprietors. Don't expect it here."
"Relatively decent health food store. Did not find the employees to be very friendly but not rude. You should have a good knowledge of what you are looking for before arriving. However, the store did have all the items we were looking for that day. Larger than our regular health food store. Parking is great which is good because driving here is a ways. Worth it if you are natural food oriented."
