"The owner of the store is very nice and very friendly to customers. This is the only store I get most of my African food stuff from in Baltimore. I will recommend this store to everyone."

"I had a nice experience here. The cashier helped me find what I couldn't find easily. Overall, it's a really nice place. Thanks for having me!"

"The store is okay. The owner is quite friendly however the store worker lady can sometimes get rude and impatient. More than once she gets really rude about using the points and suggests you pay and leave. I was like then what’s the point of gathering points if I can’t use them! Seems she needs to be trained on how to use them for customers cos she apparently doesn’t know how to do it. Been shopping here for years I know I have gathered more than enough points to get a discount even if it’s once! Also, the store opening time on google says 8am but it’s actually 9am so that needs to be changed because I went there early once at 8:20am before work but I had to wait till 9am otherwise I’d have wasted my 35 - 40 minute drive down to the store. Asides these, their produce are great and the store is neat. I also don’t have issues with their prices as well."

"This place is expensive for no reason the african market that I usually go to has the big pack of the spicy plantain chips for $6.00 this place sells it for $10.00 and even the normal pack is $3.00 here and at my normal african store its $1.75 . Price is not the only thing wrong the place is also extremely small and packed tight there are literally only two carts available there and it smells weird. The photos you see here are also extremely deceiving the place is not that neat. I AM NEVER COMING BACK."

"My experience was wonderful! I needed zobo leaves and the owner of the store went out of her way to find it for me when the sales clerk had no idea where it was. This is my go-to store for my African foodstuff. Their prices are very fair and comparable, if not the same as you'd pay going to DC. The people that run this place are very friendly."
