PaPa GeGe's Italian Villa

"We were very disappointed tonight. We ordered a New York style cheese pizza and Veal Parmesan. The pizza was so greasy that the crust was soggy. The veal did not taste fresh at all. So, I ate my pasta that came with the veal and the salad which was very good. My husband had one soggy greasy piece of pizza and we brought the rest home along with my entire veal cutlet minus one bite and we will be feeding $50.00 worth of food to our chickens. This was our third time here and will be our last. The first time our pizza was excellent. The second time a few months later and our pizza was not the pizza we ordered but it was good so we ate it anyway. We were told they were training new cooks. Tonight, over a year later and we were told the same thing, that they’re training and that’s probably why. The service was good and they were very pleasant. I wish I could say I recommend this restaurant but I just can’t."

"This was my first time to Papa Gege’s and I was very excited after all the good things I had heard. This is by far hands-down, the best Italian restaurant that I have been to in a long, long time. And I cannot wait to go back. The service was fabulous! The sauce was incredible! The meatballs were just as good as my moms! And I even got the baked rigatoni to go for my next meal. I was visiting Youngstown from Columbus and I cannot wait to go back and try the pizza!"

"If you are looking for true authentic Italian food this is the place for you! Stopped in after a long day of shopping and had to wait a little but boy was it worth it! I had the Baked Rigatoni and it was absolutely one of the best dishes I have ever had. I have reviewed and ate many dishes but this was one of the best. The sauce was fresh and had deep flavors, the Ricotta was house made and had great cheesiness. The whole dish was incredible everything we had was fresh and flavorful. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a Authentic Italian food."

"This was our first time here. I have been hearing great comments. They are spot on. The food was hot and fresh, the portions are crazy large. The cavatelli has Diablo sauce and I got a piece of sausage it was very good, my husband got the chicken parm. Said it was fantastic. The stuffed hot peppers were ok, not something I would order again but hats off to the staff, great job and great food. Kennedy was very helpful in ordering and came and chatted with us for a minute"
