Aqua Pazzo

"my family and i (party of 5) came here to celebrate my birthday and made a reservation for 8pm. we arrived right at 8 and waited around 15 minutes to even be sat as they stated they were getting our table ready. this normally wouldn't have been a big deal but we didn't see our server for about another 15 minutes after being sat. at the time i thought he must have been a busser/ dining room attendant because he did not welcome us at all, and just sat water in front of us and said he would bring bread. the bread never came and about 20 minutes later he came by the table and asked us if we were ready to order. after being in the restaurant around an hour with still no appetizers or even dinner ordered, this was pretty frustrating. especially because we could see our server and he was talking to people at the bar and was attempting to impress some guests by flipping a pint glass which fell and broke on the ground- all before he took any kind of appetizer or entree order from us. when he did finally come by to take our order it took about 5 min to get our appetizer of peppers and oil out which he brought with a few small loaves of bread. i would have loved to try one of the hot appetizers but we opted for the peppers and oil in hopes it would come out quick since we were pretty hungry. it came in about 5 minutes and it was very good. our food came out about 20 minutes later. the food was phenomenal and the pasta was top notch. our server was more attentive when we were done with our meal and it was time to pay out. i have been in the restaurant industry for about 12 years and i am not easily upset at a restaurant experience, but this was very disappointing. no suggestions off cocktails, wine or appetizers made by our server when he was at our table, and we felt extremely ignored until it was time to pay. it is a beautiful restaurant and i will give it a chance in the future solely because of the food and hope we will have better service next time."

"Made reservations online. Thought we would be getting a table nearby the pond. We arrived and were seated in the kitchen area. It was loud and very dark. We were also seated in the most trafficked part of the kitchen. I needed to use my phone to see the menu. The server had the personality of a dish towel. My husbands pasta was not done enough and meatballs were bland. My filet was actually done perfectly. Drinks are very expensive for the small amount you get. I was hoping for a more intimate and visually pleasing experience like their website shows. This was part of my birthday present from my husband and it was disappointing. I was so excited to try this place too."

"The atmosphere, drinks and food were absolutely amazing but the staff truly made the evening perfect. My husband and I were celebrating our 1 year anniversary and couldn’t be happier. We got the lamb lollipops and octopus for appetizers, which were to die for. The pasta was perfectly aldente and full of flavor. (Definitely get the arribiata pasta) Our waitress of the evening, Becky, was so warm and welcoming and made the entire evening one to remember. Highly recommend for any celebration or just an excuse to go out!"
